Join us for “FLOURISH” a charitable event of exquisite wine, fabulous art and gourmet food in support of REENA . Thursday, October 30th, 2008

The Wine Ladies would like to invite you to join us Thursday October 30th, 2008 as we co-host the second annual event “FLOURISH” It promises to be a feast for all your senses!

Flourish combines the fine art of wine tasting with the love of gourmet food set in the majestic ambiance of the Manyata Courtyard which translates to “meeting place” in Kiswahili. Within this luxurious setting, guests will have the opportunity to explore inspiring works of art in many mediums from emerging Toronto artists who will be on hand to engage in lively discussions. Finally, stellar jazz and contemporary music from a famed musical guest will steal the night away with a dazzling performance.

Flourish is an opportunity for you and your organization to make a difference. Proceeds from the event will support the lives of the 800 children; teens and young adults cared for by Reena each year.

Some highlights of the evening include:

-Sparkling Chilean wine reception upon entry to the event

-Fabulous food from top catering and restaurant establishments in the city including Manyata Courtyard, Encore Catering, Bite Catering, Satori Supperclub, Roseborg Cheese, Maple Dale Cheese, Heart Chocolateand many others.
-Zoltan Szabo will be providing an hour long wine seminar to 30+ people
-iYellow Wine Club will be providing a Celebrity Wine Tasting, wines from Mike Weir, Dan Ackroyd
-16 wine vendors will be pouring wine from around the globe, featuring 7 vineyards from Chile ( Viña Anakena ,Viña Caliterra Viña Concha y Toro, Viña Errazuriz, Fresita, Viña Santa Alicia, Viña Valdivieso - Chilean wineries)
-Doris Bradley, Master Sommelier from 360 restaurant will be performing ‘Sabering Champagne’ a historical performance which includes
cutting the top of a champagne bottle using a sword. Doris will then explain the significance of the ritual
-Billy from Billy’s Best Bottles will be on hand to demonstrate his interactive Wine Dating Game
-Contemporary art work will be intermingled amongst the wine vendors with artist on hand to talk about their work

-Live Auction and loot bag ( over $100 value)

-Us, The Wine Ladies will co host and entertain you throughout the evening!
