Wine for Goat Cheese

Dear Wine Ladies,

We’re slowly getting into selecting the right wine to go with the right food. We’ve discovered a wonderful goat cheese that is very delicate and creamy. What might be a good choice for a wine?

Dear Adrianne,

The trick here is to select a wine that will not over power the cheese. A light, crisp, unoaked wine with good acidity would be wonderful. Sauvignon Blanc is always a natural with goat cheese. Try a Sancerre, a dry rose or even a sparkling wine for something a little different.
