Description & Tasting Notes

A de-classifoed Chateauneuf-du-Pape that missed the re-zoning by theFrench government in 1934 by just one kilometer. Great for us. as this single vineyard Cotes du Rhone exhibits many of the qualities you would expect from the king of the area, Chateauneuf-du-Pape but sells for a much more modest price. Cotes du Rhone is the region, however this is a single vinyard wine, hence ‘Domaine de Tout Vent’ made and bottled by the family Louis Mousser, who has owned it for 3 generations. Beautiful full bodied wine, gushing with fruit of cherry and plum jam, and fresh ground black pepper in the nose. Excellent quality wine for the price, enjoy now, but be sure to save a few bottles and watch it develop over time.

Food Match

Extremely versatile, will marry well with your barbeque fare of chicken, pork, veal chops and hamburger. Great to sip on, slightly chilled, most enjoyable as a patio wine with appetizers.
