Girls’ Night Out wines hit the radio waves

We all know that men and women think differently. Vive la difference! In fact this difference also affects the way each of these two groups buy their wine as well. We certainly learned a lot about that topic and much, much more when we were joined last weekend on our radio show ( September 20th,2008) by Doug Beatty Vice President Marketing, Kelly Elliot Manager Export Agency Services and Suzy Podrebarac retail Store Manger/Special Projects all from Colio Estate Wines.

Women tend to buy their wines more on the looks of the labels, the name of the wine and on pairing wine with specific dishes. Women want value for their money. Men on the other hand tend to buy wine based on ratings given to the wines by the “experts”. The men don’t like to ask too many questions (its like asking for driving directions)

When Doug Beatty from Colio Estate Wines first started working on the Girls Night Out wine concept he enlisted the help of the entire female staff. Hence the fabulous range of Girls Night Out wines were created and are now causing a fever in the marketplace. Delicious, VQA designated great value at just $12.95 per bottle these wines have women talking and enjoying girls’ nights out throughout Ontario.
