The restaurant is Aureole, located in the Mandalay Bay Casino and Resort.It is part of the incredible Charlie Palmer Group, a two time Michelin Star recipient and Wine Spectator Grand Award winner for its wine list every year since 1999!
One of my favorite courses is dessert.I was not disappointed when much to my delight an incredible orange cream semifreddo flambe was paired with something from back home. So a nod to Aureole Wine Director Harley Carbery for adding this Icewine to the list! The Jackson-Triggs Reserve Vidal Icewine 2012 is my wine pick today!
As always, so luscious with seductive aromas of tropical fruits, mango, apricot and papaya. Rich on the palate with that wonderful acidity to balance this delectable wine, we sure know how to make our signature wine here in Niagara and Jackson Triggs, Canada’s most awarded winery does it fabuloso!
